By now, and after years of devastating defeats in Vietnam, Iraq, and now in Afghanistan, U.S. politicians and military officials should realize resistant fighters and insurgents eventually adapt to new and advanced weapons technologies, like drones, and acquire new skills to either effectively combat new war innovation, even destroying them. They should also acknowledge the dangers of drone proliferation.
